The Mustique Company spent 19 Million US in capital expenditure for the year 2017. This was disclosed at the company’s recently held shareholders meeting.
From the 19 Million, some 4 Million was used to purchase a Twin Otter aircraft, expanding the Mustique Airways Twin Otter’s fleet to four.
A hanger was also built in 2017, along with a number of capital projects taking place on the island of Mustique.
The company says more monies would be spent this year for workers accommodation.
The Mustique company along with Government should in the next two months finalise their discussions on a new lease agreement, the current one comes to an end in 2019.
