Police have arrested and charged Ronald Nanton, 22 years old Sale Clerk, Michael Thomas, 29 years old Janitor, Sego Pope, 17 years old Labourer, Kesron Richardson, 20 years old Labourer, Junior Richardson, 22 years old Labourer and a 14 year old Student all of Cane End with allegedly Handling Stolen Goods.
According to investigations, the aforementioned persons knowing or believing that one (1) black Acer Laptop to be stolen goods, they dishonestly received it for their own benefit between 01.04.18 and 19.11.18 at Cane End.
Junior Richardson was also arrested and charged with allegedly entering the St. Joseph Convent Marriaqua Secondary School as a trespasser between 01.04.18 and 19.11.18 and stole fifty (50) Acer Laptops value $25,000.00 ECC. The property of the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
They pleaded not guilty and were each granted $1,000 bail.
The student was released into the custody of his mother and is to appear before the Family Court today.
The other Four (4) are to appear before the Serious Offences Court on November 26th for a date to be set for their trial.
