Police have arrested and charged Philmore Mc Coy, 42-year-old resident of Sandy Bay with the offence of Fraud and three (3) counts of Traffic Offences on 03.09.19.
According to investigations, the accused allegedly for being the driver of motor vehicle P-4146 did Fraudulently use identification mark PN-997 on the said motor vehicle for same to be deemed to be issued at Rabacca Public Road.
(2) For being the driver of motor vehicle PN-997 did fail to renew his driving permit on his birth date on 05.07.19.
(3) For being the driver of motor vehicle PN-997 did use the said motor vehicle without there being enforced a policy of insurance with respect to third party risk in respect of the said vehicle.
(4) For being the driver of motor vehicle PN-997 did use the said motor vehicle without the relevant license in respect of the said motor vehicle for the period 01.07.19 to 31.12.19. The incident occurred at Rabacca about 4:20pm on 03.09.19.
The accused is expected to appear before the Magistrate Court to answer the charges.
