Trans Island Air 2000 (TIA), has commenced service from Saint Lucia to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Grenada, Barbados, and Dominica.

The announcement was made in St Lucia on Monday by that country’s Prime Minister Allen Chastanet, who told reporters he understands that the airline would also have a service to Martinique.

He explained that this represented a big difference in terms of facilitation and other costs. TIA’s official website described the carrier as offering hassle-free travel.

Officials told News784 that the airline has its own desk at the Argyle International Airport, with a roundtrip to Barbados starting at EC $569.00.

TIA is using the Beech 99 aircraft which has a seating capacity of 15 according to the manufacturer’s website.

“Trans Island Air is a revolutionised scheduled and private charter aviation company. Our vision is to provide a relaxing, reliable and flexible flight experience,” according to the website.
