Overland Resident Zevon Seymour To Graduate From Taiwan Institute Of Agriculture

(By Ernesto Cooke) Updated 2021-02-14 – Zevon Seymour, a resident of the Northern Village of Overland and a fourth-year student at the National Pingtung University Of Science and Technology in Southern Taiwan, will be graduated from the Institute of Tropical Agriculture a department of the University on the 17th of June 2017.

The Institute of Tropical Agriculture was established in August 1997 as part of the expansion of the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST).

Since its establishment, the number of foreign students enrolled in this institute has continuously increased each year.

Seymour was the recipient of a 4-year scholarship on behalf of the Republic of China on Taiwan, along with three other students at the National Pingtung University.

He told News784 in a brief interview that life in Taiwan was difficult at the start, but due to the hospitality of the people, he was able to adjust to his new environment.

Seymour has since returned home to share the knowledge gained with the farmers in his community.
