- Dishonestly Obtained $1,580 From 9 Victims
On March 30, 2024, police arrested and charged Tasheca Bacchus, 26 years old and self-employed, with nine (9) counts of deception in Arnos Vale.
Investigations revealed that the defendant dishonestly obtained a total of one thousand, five hundred and eighty dollars from nine (9) different female complainants between Park Hill and Union Island with the intention of permanently depriving them of the same.
The incidents occurred mostly between January 2024 and March 2024, except for one that took place on April 27, 2023.
The defendant appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court on April 2, 2024, and pleaded guilty to all charges.
The court remanded her for two (2) days and scheduled her return for sentencing today, April 4th, 2024.
