Citizens Of SVG Spared From Homicides and Weather Events On Christmas Day

1 Min Read

While Barbados and Jamaica had to suffer a bloody Christmas, St Vincent remained peaceful and true to its anthem.

Its citizens took the time to worship at various churches across the island, giving thanks for another Christmas without any weather related events.

Persons on Christmas day visited family and friends, exchanged gifts and enjoyed the sorrel, ginger beer and one of their favorite past times, partaking of the Christmas Ham.

A number of events took place across the island to coincide with the holidays, including the annual AM Beach Lime, which took place on Monday morning and the popular STUSH all-inclusive party event, which began on Monday night into early Tuesday morning 27th December.

Reports from the islands of Barbados and Jamaica say that each experienced four homicides on Christmas Day.
