- PARTIALLY DECOMPOSED BODY DISCOVERED ON TOURAMA BEAC
Police in St Vincent have opened an investigation into the discovery of a partially decomposing body on Tourama Beach, Tourama on Thursday 07th March 2024. The body was discovered at approximately 1:25 p.m. by residents who later notified the police.
The decomposing corpse was subsequently identified as Doxford Lavia, a 55-year-old Labourer of Sandy Bay. The scene was visited by the police and a medical practitioner who pronounced Lavia deceased.
There were no signs of violence on the body. However, a post-mortem examination is expected to be done on Monday 11th March 2024 to ascertain the cause of death.
