Desron Roberts a laborer from the village of Cane End in the Marriqaua Valley has been arrested and charged for murder.
Roberts is accused that with malice aforethought did cause the death of 30 years old Rodesha Rochelle Bailey of Sayers between October 25th and 26th 2018.
Reports are that Bailey’s body was discovered dressed in her underwear only with multiple stab wounds to her body in a track not too far from her home.
Roberts was on Monday November 5th, 2018 escorted to the Serious Offences Court facing the charge that was laid indictable before Chief Magistrate Rechanne Browne.
Bail was not allowed and he was remanded into custody until February 11th, 2019 when a Preliminary Inquiry is schedule to commence.
Senior Prosecutor Adolphus Delpesche stated that some twelve witnesses are expected to mount the witness stand for the Prosecution.
