The court matter to have the two elections petitions thrown out will again come up for hearing today.
The matter was heard in open court last month, with Justice Brian Cottle urging the parties to find a settlement so as to save the court’s time.
The government is seeking to have the court throw out the petitions, stating that they were not filed in accordance with the law.
The opposition is claiming that the government does not want the petitions to be heard, since evidence will be brought to light to show the elections were neither free nor fair.
