Eustace Worried About Performance Of Boys At Educational Institutions

Former Opposition leader and Parliamentary representative for East Kingstown, the Honourable Arnhim Eustace, says he is gravely concerned about the scarcity of boys graduating from educational institutions here in St Vincent.

Eustace brought this to the attention of listeners on the party’s radio program saying that his attention was caught by noting that the recent graduation ceremony hosted by the University of the West Indies, where 59 graduates were girls and only 4 were boys.

The former Opposition leader said that something is drastically wrong,  when we have this kind of ratio and questioned what is it about our society and our region where the girls are performing far better than the boys.

He further questioned what has happened to the field that is critical to our economy such as science & Technology and is hopeful that things would change
