A Georgetown man is now a patient at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital after being shot at Wednesday night.
Jerald Tishera, 57 years old of Back Street, Georgetown, was rushed to the Georgetown Health Center after being shot in the back while sleeping in his porch.
Police confirmed the information related to News784.
The shooting took place shortly after 11pm by an unknown assailant.
The 57 year old who spoke with News784 said on receiving the bullet he awoke and saw a man in a hooded top, when asked “who you be” he said the individual turned and ran.
Teshira said he is worried about his sons since they may want to react in a negative way.
The 57 year old says his heart bleeds for this young generation. Police is investigating the matter.
