Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves turned up at the “Chill Spot Bar and Grill” in Arnos Vale recently, for a night relaxation and fun.
Gonsalves was seen mingling with patrons and taking photos with staff members as well.
The Chill Spot a popular social meeting place had to close its doors recently for remodeling.
This remodeling was done after the Physical Planning Board made an assessment that operations were being carried out at the Arnos Vale location without the necessary permission.
At the time of the saga, Government Senator Carlos James had said there was a need for compromise and a balance to be strike.
Gonsalves who also weighed in on the debate at the time said that the owners of Chill Spot are supporters of his ULP; however, he made it clear that the laws must be carried out and that everyone must work in accordance with such laws.
