Munroe Peters from the community of Harmony Hall is now before the Court on a charge of assault with intent to commit the offence of wounding.
This is said to have occurred on Wednesday February 8th, 2017 upon Linda Bascombe of the same address.
Peters with legal representation from lawyer Grant Connel appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate Court on Thursday February 9th, before Senior Magistrate Bertie Pompey and entered a plea of not guilty. There was no objection to his bail in his own
There was no objection to his bail in his own recognizance which was allowed in the sum of $2,000.00.
The matter was adjourned and transferred to the Calliaqua Magistrate Court for trial on March 13th, 2017 before district Magistrate Zola Ellis-Browne.
