Jerroy “Jay-Jay” Phillips, a 22 year old of Redemption Sharpes was taken into custody about at about 10am on Thursday morning.
Police told News784 that Philips was wanted in connection with the murder of Sabitree Lyttle, a 56-year-old of Hollywood, Redemption Sharpes.
Lyttle was reportedly in a family-owned provision shop located on the upper level of her house, when she was approached and shot by armed persons.
