    Mya wins 1 gold and 3 bronze medals in Barbados Short Championships

    Mya DeFreitas of Black Sands Swim Squad competed in the Barbados Short Course National Championships from 5-8th December 2019.

    Up against the best from Barbados, Mya won 1 gold and 3 bronze medals.

    Whilst doing so, she smashed the SVG 200 meter fly National record in the girls 13-14 age group category.
