Dr. Godwin Friday will address the nation later today in what would be his first press conference as Opposition Leader.
Friday will lay out the parliamentary agenda going forward, focused on increasingly robust actions to hold the current administration accountable and to deliver change and betterment for our country.
Dr. Friday will also lead the tributes to one of the most outstanding Vincentian statesmen of the modern political era, at his next opportunity to speak in Parliament.
In initial comments last Thursday, Dr. Friday noted that “All of us in the New Democratic Party owe a great debt of gratitude to Mr. Eustace for keeping the party together and viable.” The press conference is scheduled to begin at 11am.
On Tuesday, November 22nd, Hon. Arnhim Eustace spoke to the nation and his constituents.
Eustace dealt extensively with the developments surrounding both the party’s representation in parliament and that of the future leadership of the enduring New Democratic Party.
