New Rules: Only “9 Passengers” Allowed On Omnibuses

As SVG records its third case of COVID-19 new measures have been outlined by the Government public transportation.

The Minister of health Luke Browe at a press conference on Friday morning stated that the maximum capacity for mini Van’s has now been reduced to 9 passengers.

The initial amount was 13 passengers per 18 seat omnibus.

In what was the third press conference to be held by the Ministry, Minister of Health Luke Browne, said that this country has a comprehensive strategic focus on avoiding the spread of the virus.

So far St. Vincent and the Grenadines has sent off 53 COVID-19 samples to the Caribbean Public Health Agency Lab for testing, from which the 3 positive results were returned.
