Police have confirmed to News784 that no passenger was hurt during a fire on board a minibus, just after the midday hour on Monday 22nd May 2017.
The van which was travelling to Kingstown apparently caught fire in the Villa area just before the Grand View Hotel entrance.
The minivan H-I81 had 17 passengers on board at the time of the incident.The van does a daily commute between Georgetown and capital city Kingstown
According to the Searchlight Newspaper in an interview with the conductor, he was alerted by a passenger that the van was on fire.
The matter is currently under investigation.
