The public must now be on the lookout for an escaped prisoner, this was revealed by the police at a press conference this afternoon.
At a press conference held to update the public on the four homicides that took place between last evening and early this morning, the police indicated the prisoner keon Scott fled from the Serious Offences Court on a Friday.
The Police is viewing him as a possible suspect in the series of murders which have taken place in Kingstown and its suburbs (including one in Campden Park).
When asked by the media why it took so long to make the public aware Deputy Police Commissioner Colin John said, they had already circulated the information to out stations.
Scott is considered armed and dangerous as he was on gun-related charges.
John said since the press conference is being held he took the opportunity to brief the public. Anyone with information about Keon Scott whereabouts is asked to contact the nearest Police station.
With recent homicides, the murder toll for the year stands at 31.
