Schools To Compete In 2016 Science Fair

Students across St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be competing in the National Science Fair in November.

The Annual Competition will be organized by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with Science Teachers Association and St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited – VINLEC. The theme is – Scientific and Technological Literacy:Empowering the Vincentian Society in the 21st Century.

The launching ceremony took place on Wednesday, October 5th at the Conference Room of the Curriculum Unit. The Fair runs from November 14-18, 2016

Prizes will be awarded as follows:-
1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each category
1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each Age-class
The most outstanding Primary School Project
The most outstanding Secondary School Project
The most outstanding Post-Secondary project
The most outstanding project at the “Open” Level
The top Primary School
The top Secondary School
The top Post-Secondary Institution
The winning Educational Institution

A Certificate of Participation will also be awarded to all participants.
