Brent Bailey, Chief Engineer in the Ministry of Transport and Works said that they expect to have works on the South Leeward Highway completed by March of 2017.
He noted that thus far work on the project is progressing well and the contractor has already finished more than sixty percent of the paving works.
There have been significant base works that have been done to-date.
Mr. Bailey said they are currently in the process of reviewing the expected completion date for the project but realistically, they expect it to be completed by March or April 2017.
