A destructive fire recently a wing of the Questelles Government School in St. Vincent, occurring just days before the start of the new academic term.
The blaze completely ruined the roof and structural rear the building housing third and fourth-grade classrooms along with the essential school kitchen.
While the Fire Brigade managed to prevent the flames from spreading to the main building, they faced significant equipment challenges and logistical hurdles during the operation.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire, which remains unknown at this time.
