9yro-Boy taken form Liberty Lodge found on Bequia

KIDNAPPING INCIDENT INVOLVING MINOR

On Monday, December 29, 2025, the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) received a report that a 9-year-old minor was removed from the Liberty Lodge Home for Boys around midday without lawful authority or excuse.

In connection with this incident, police have issued a WANTED bulletin for Carrisa “Shemika” Neverson of South Rivers, who is believed to have removed the child.

The child was later located safe and unharmed on the island of Bequia with a relative and is now in police custody. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the matter are ongoing.

Ms. Neverson is therefore urged to surrender herself to the nearest police station immediately. Cooperation at this stage is in her best interest.

Anyone who sees or knows the whereabouts of Carrisa “Shemika” Neverson is asked to contact Police Control at 784-457-1211, the Criminal Investigations Department at 784-456-1810, 999 or 911, or the nearest police station. All information will be treated in strict confidence.

The RSVGPF continues to handle this matter with sensitivity, particularly given the involvement of a minor.
