St Vincent and the Grenadines today joins with the rest of the world in observing World Food Day.
The World Food Day Planning Committee here was engaged in several activities leading up to World Food Day, which is being observed under the theme: Our Actions Are Our Future: A Zero Hunger World is Possible by 2030.
The committee had been conducting sensitization sessions in Schools, to enlighten the students on the significance of World Food Day among other things.
The focus of attention on World Food Day 2018 will be the Agricultural Exhibition at Heritage Square today.
World Food Day is a day of action dedicated to tackling global hunger.
Held annually on 16th October, people from around the world come together to declare their commitment to eradicate worldwide hunger from our lifetime.
