St Vincent and the Grenadines Under-17 Female footballers gained valuable experience following their sojourn to the Windward Islands Football Association (WIFA) Competition.
Held in Grenada, the Vincentian lasses faltered only to their Grenadian counterparts, 0-4 on the last day of competition, December 20.
Prior, St Vincent and the Grenadines had wins versus the Grenada Under-15 outfit and Dominica.
An Azumi Quow goal separated St Vincent and Grenadines from the Grenada’s Under-15, who stood for St Lucia which did not participate in the competition.
Quow and Raydahlia Bute were on target when St Vincent and the Grenadines beat Dominica 2-1.
The competition which ran from December 16 to 20, served as preparation for the three participating countries, as they are listed in the Concacaf Under-17 Qualifiers carded for early 2026.
St Vincent and the Grenadines is listed in Group D, with the likes of Honduras, Jamaica, Guyana, and Aruba.
That segment of the qualifiers takes place January 24 to February 2, 2026, where the Vincentians will head to Aruba.
