Vincentian National To Answer Drug Charges In Grenada

A Vincentian national living in St. Andrew Grenada, is expected to appear before the St. George’s Magistrates Court on Thursday 20th October 2016 to answer to a slew of drug charges.

Edmund Guy, a Vincentian national and Damian St. Paul a Grenadian are jointly charged with possession and trafficking of a controlled drug and conspiracy to import a controlled drug.

Guy is facing an additional charge of importing a controlled drug.

Charges were laid against the duo after officers attached to Drug Squad intercepted a vehicle driven by St. Paul in Mt. Gay, St. George about 8:00 p.m. on Sunday 16th October.

The weekend operation netted one hundred and thirty pounds (130 1bs) of compressed Cannabis.
