ANTIGUA – As the Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP) continues the investigation into the recent seizure of approximately $1, 876,000 worth of compressed cannabis, another Vincentian national has been apprehended and charged.
Two Vincentian males have now been charged.
Godfrey King, a resident of Green Hill – Liberta, and Sydney Norville, a resident of Marble Hill, appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel on Monday to answer to the charges of possession of cannabis, possession with intent to transfer, being concerned in the supply of cannabis and drug trafficking.
Both men were denied bail as they are considered a flight risk and have been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison until May 8 for committal proceedings.
Investigations are ongoing.
