A number of children from the South Central Windward constituency are now in a better position to begin the new school term, after receiving school supplies from the NDP caretaker Israel Bruce.

The supplies were made possible through the NDP SCW back to school assistance program. The distribution took place on Wednesday 30th August 2017, at the constituency office base in Diamonds.

Some 60 Children from Chapmans, New Grounds, Mt Grenan, and  Diamonds, received Bag Packs, and stationery supplies.

Bruce also reached out to 90 students from the villages of Lauders, Higher Lowmans, Hadley Village and Longpiece.

Those students also received school supplies to aid in their preparation for the reopening of school on Monday.

News784 was told that the caretaker would also assist children in the Greggs community this afternoon. The beneficiaries were students of both Primary and Secondary institutions.
