Police here in St Vincent and the Grenadines are investigating an attack on a young lady in the India Bay area on Tuesday 11th September, 2018.
Sources tell News784 that the police currently have a young man in custody from the North Leeward village of Troumaca.
The incident which was caught on CCTV in the area, showed a young woman struggling to free herself from a young man who apparently tried to rape her.
The woman was seen on footage returning from the beach in Indian Bay, when the young who was loitering in the area attacked her.
An investigation into the matter continues.
