St.Vincent and the Grenadines’ very own Infectious Disease Specialist Dr. Jerrol Thompson has praised the contact tracing that has been carried out by the country’s local health authorities.
“What is the strength here in St.Vincent and the Grenadines, a great strength that I really must applaud, is the whole contact tracing early detection that’s able to get these individuals properly tested, diagnosed and placed under some measure of quarantine.” Thompson said.
St.Vincent and the Grenadines currently has 7 active cases of COVID -19, 49 confirmed recoveries and 191 results pending. A total of 2,448 persons have been tested for the virus to date.
