Police have arrested and charged Deron Antoine a 26 year old Labourer of Lauders with the offence of Wounding on 30.08.19.
According to investigations, the accused allegedly wounded an 84-year old resident of the same address “by stabbing him about his body with a knife”. The incident occurred at Lauders about 10:00am on 29.08.19.
The accused is expected to appear before the Magistrate court to answer the charge.
