St. Vincent and the Grenadines recorded three (3) new positive cases. Two (2) additional cases are from samples received and tested on April 1st, 2021, resulting in a new positivity rate of 0.8%. One (1) case is from one hundred and fifty-five (155) samples received and tested on April 2nd, 2021 resulting in a positivity rate of 0.6%.
Ten (10) new recoveries were reported, bringing the number of total recoveries to sixteen hundred and twenty-four (1624). One hundred and twenty-four (124) cases are active and ten (10) persons with COVID-19 have died.
One thousand, seven hundred and fifty-eight (1758) cases of COVID-19 have been reported in St. Vincent and the Grenadines since March 2020.
The public is urged to continue to use masks, sanitize, physically distance and get vaccinated to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
