3 Women To Stand Trial For The Death Of Simonia DaSilva

Taylor Mofford, Alana Hudson and Twanecia Ollivierre all from the community of Fair Hall who were indicted on a charge of causing the death of Simonia ‘Allana’ DaSilva on September 4th, 2017 have been ordered to stand trial for murder at the next Practical Session of the High Court.

The order was given on Tuesday Morning August 7th, 2018 by Chief Magistrate Rechanne Browne at the conclusion of a Preliminary Inquiry/paper committal which looked into the circumstances that caused the death of DaSilva.

Reports are that on the date in question during a fracas which had developed into an altercation the trio inflicted multiple stab wounds with knives to the body of DaSilva causing her death.

The three accused are being represented by Defense Counsels Ronald Marks, Grant Connell and Michael Wyllie.
