A Saturday afternoon shooting incident in the Carapan community has left one of this country’s educator hospitalised.

According to information obtained by News784, the shooting took place sometime after 4 pm on Saturday 3rd February 2018.

Nadine Delplesche, a 35yro teacher at the St Vincent Boys Grammer School, received 3 gunshots, one in the stomach, her abdomen and leg.

According to information obtained by News784,  Delplesche and her son were at home when the incident occurred.

She is now a patient at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

 Police are carrying out investigations.
