Detectives at the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested yet another person for the attempted murder upon Jawani Roberts of Redemption Sharpes.
Sage John from the community of Ottley Hall is also accused for having in his possession one revolver containing 5 rounds of ammunition without the relevant license and also attempted to discharge a loaded firearm at Roberts at Grenville Street on October 24th, 2018.
John was on Tuesday December 4th escorted to the Serious Offences Court facing the indictable charges before Chief Magistrate Rechanne Browne to which he was not allowed to plea.
Senior Prosecutor Adolphus Delpesche strongly objected to bail citing that he is presently facing two robbery related charges alleged to have been committed in September and November 2018.
The objection was upheld by the Magistrate and John was remanded into custody until March 5th, 2019 when a Preliminary Inquiry is expected to commence.
Two other persons Kareem Charles and Shamol Richardson are the other two persons facing the said charges.
