Following the arrest recently of Jerome Ollivierre a resident of Myreau for causing the death of 54 year old Security Guard Rodney George of Victoria Village, Police Detective Inspector Cheryl James from the Calliaqua Police Station has arrested and charged three additional persons for the murder.
Suspended Police Constable Etienne Charles, Grenville Harry a resident of Vermont and Ulric Hanson also from Myreau appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate Court on Wednesday 10th, 2018 before Senior Magistrate Rickie Burnett charged jointly for inflicting a single stab wound to the neck of George.
They were also charged with entering the G.E.C. Auto Supplies at Arnos Vale between August 31st and September 1st 2018 and stole approximately $2,000.00 dollars.
They were not allowed to plea to the charges as they were laid indictable.
Senior Prosecutor Adolphus Delpesche took time out to commend Inspector James for her hard work and pointed out that the investigations were ninety-five percent complete and James has indicated that some 20 witnesses are expected to mount the witness stand for the Prosecution.
As a result the trio has been ordered to join Ollivierre at Her Majesty’s Prison where they will remain in custody until April 10th, 2019 when the Preliminary Inquiry is expected to begin.
