Police have arrested and charged David Williams, 51 years old Chauffeur of Richmond Hill with Vehicular Manslaughter on 16.08.19.
According to investigations, Williams being the driver of motor vehicle PN-643 allegedly caused the death of Gregory Glenroy Charles by driving the said vehicle dangerously along the Kearton’s Public Road.
The vehicle allegedly struck Charles who reportedly died on the spot. The incident occurred at Kearton’s on 31.07.19.
Williams appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court on 16.08.19 for an arraignment and was not called upon to plea because the charge was laid indictable.
He was placed on EC$20,000.00 bail with one surety. The case was adjourned to 03.09.19 for arraignment.
