Over 700 hundred Vincentians attended a post-Irma meeting with Minister Saboto Caesar and Minister Camilo Gonsalves in the BVI.
The meeting took place on the 13th of September at the New Testament Church of God International Worship Centre, Baughers Bay, Tortola.
It was chaired by Bishop Ishmael Charles, SVG’s newly appointed Honorary Consul to the BVI.
Caesar told nationals that “ BVI” is going to be rebuilt and restored better. Plans are being made for those who wish to leave with priority for the elderly and children.
On Wednesday the BVI government also stated that they would assist Caricom nationals to leave the devastated islands.
