The Bequia Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a motor vehicle accident which took place on the evening of Wednesday 20th December 2017 at 8:50 pm.
The motor vehicle according to a police report left Ursula Meier, a 78-year-old retired woman dead.
Reports are that the deceased left her home that evening and was not seen until 2 am the next day Thursday 21st December 2017, when her vehicle was spotted over an embankment at Springtop Bequia.
Her lifeless body was discovered in the vehicle, Meier was later pronounced by the District Medical Doctor.
A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out to ascertain the cause of death
