Boom 106.9fm – In a Facebook post, the management said the intermission in programming is due to COVID-19 among staff or their families.
“The breaks in our programming has been necessary as Staff members or their families tested positive for Covid-19.
We take the Covid-19 protocols seriously, and to ensure our staff and their families are safe, we needed to operate in a limited capacity”.
The management said Clearance for staff has been longer than initially anticipated with the high demand for testing.
“Our team is rallying together; we will rise to the challenge and, most importantly, learn from the challenge and change.
As we navigate the Pandemic together, Boom 1069 would like to thank our corporate family for your understanding and support. To our contributors and listeners, your continued presence and support has been the driving force that keeps us going”.
