Stinging Rebuttal From Hans King To Daniel Cummings

3 Min Read

Comments made by the Opposition New Democratic Party Chairman and West Kingstown Parliamentary Representative Hon. Daniel Cummings during an interview last Friday  on Boom FM has been rubbished by Press Secretary Hans King.

King dedicated the first hour of the Shake Up Program on WEFM, on Monday morning in retaliation to Cummings, and the NDP in general, to speak at length on the issue of the Argyle Airport and the recent outcome of the election petitions that were raised by Cummings.

King also accused Cummings of making defamatory statements about Supervisor or Elections, Sylvia Findlay-Scrubb and Senator Julian Francis.

While the political rhetoric from King in response to the statements made by Daniel Cummings could be regarded as part of the flare in Caribbean politics, the Press Secretary also launched a scathing attack on the NDP Chairman, saying, “ I have often described Cummings as a misogynist, this was due in part to a caller’s contribution to the program”.

“ I don’t think he likes women, except parts for certain purposes, i’m not saying he is a homosexual, am not saying he does not like women in that way, am saying he has a disdain for women, I honestly believe that he does not respect women”.

“ In my humble estimation he is the worst of the worst, and this is an individual you listen to them and they sound so polish, but he is a nobody, he is a nought, he is a nought the Daniel Cummings”.

King further said that anybody who goes along with, and believes the nonsense spewed by Cumming should be sued.

“ Is there nobody, apparently there is no one, in the NDP who can say listen, stop this foolishness you are carrying on with”.

“ This is what amazes me more than anything else, that you can have a political party, a mass political party, and there will not be a single voice in that party to come out publicly and say, listen, fellas, let’s stop the lies and outrageous allegations”.

“ St Clair Leacock did a bit of it sometime recently when he said, you all want to take ralph for granted, but know soon after they felt they won the election petition appeal, he came back to join them with their rubbish”.

Cummings was on Boom FM recently in an interview with Dwight “ bing”  Joesph where he spoke about the Argyle Airport, the recent decision by the court of appeal to allow the NDP election petitions back into the court; the conduct of the Supervisor of Elections, the economy and a number of other issues.
