The island of St Vincent (SVG) recorded 52 murders for the year 2023 following a shooting in Belmont.

According to information, a man was shot and killed sometime before 8 a.m. in the vicinity of the water tank in the community of Belmont.

The shooting comes on the heels of a shooting in Edinboro, which left one man dead on Saturday and another hospitalised.
