The SVG met office in its 72 hour weather outlook said generally, cloudy conditions with scattered showers (60% of forecast area) are forecast across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as instability emanating from a low-pressure system in the Central North Atlantic affects the region.

Favourable mid-upper levels could cause these showers to become moderate at times, and also increase the chance of isolated thunderstorms (20% of forecast area).

Therefore, residents and motorists in areas prone to flash-flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should exercise caution.

Winds will blow from the east north east (ENE) at approximately 20km/h-30km/h.

Seas should gradually improve, becoming moderate in open waters with swells ranging between 1.0m-1.5m on the western coasts and 2.0m on the eastern coasts. No significant haze intrusion is forecast.
