New information has surfaced as part of efforts by the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to make the new Argyle International Airport work for all Vincentians.
Minister of Agriculture the Hon. Saboto Caesar has indicated that international flights between the Argyle International Airport and New York, USA could soon be on our charts.
Hon. Caesar posted a photo on Facebook earlier today March 24th, showing him in a meeting with CEO/President of Corporate Aviation, Dan Carson, along with Tourism Minister Hon. Cecil Mackie and other local representatives.
The Facebook post further indicated that the discussions were centered around plans to export “100,000 pounds of produce weekly” out of St Vincent and the Grenadines, including airlift for passengers from the AIA into airports in New York, USA and Toronto, Canada.
