St Lucia receives $6.32 Million for indigenous community tourism projects

Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre has finalized a funding agreement with the CARICOM Development Fund (CDF) to support a range of community-based tourism projects in Micoud, Castries and Dennery.

The CDF will allocate $6.32 million to the Government of Saint Lucia to invest in indigenous community tourism businesses and develop the Unique Selling Propositions of our island.

Investing in community-based tourism projects promotes our rich cultural heritage, enhances the visitor experience, and creates economic opportunities for local communities.
