Two homes sustained damage to their roof on mainland St. from the squally weather conditions associated with Tropical Storm Bret.
There were also some power outages across the island, residents have told News784 that Vinlec (St Vincent Electricity Services) dealt with those outages in quick time.
Schools will remain closed island wide today, private and public sector workers are asked to report for duty.
The Central Water and Sewage Authority had turned the water system off in some areas as a precaution; those areas now have their water supply restored.
