Godwin Friday Sworn In as SVG Prime Minister
Godwin Friday was sworn in on Friday evening as St Vincent and the Grenadines’ 5th Prime Minister.
Friday took the oath of allegiance, oath of office and oath of secrecy before Governor-General Dame Susan Dougan.
Friday’s New Democratic Party romp home to victory in the 2025 election by winning 14 seats.
Cabinet members and senior officials would be sworn in next week.
