TTLEY HALL DUO CHARGED WITH MURDER AND ATTEMPTED MURDER
The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) has made a significant breakthrough in its investigation into the deadly shooting incident that occurred in Edinboro on February 6, 2025, which resulted in one death and injuries to another.
On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, police arrested and jointly charged Kyle Providence, and Joel Williams, both 21-year-old labourers of Ottley Hall with the following offences:
Murder
- With malice aforethought, caused the death of Carl Quow, a 21-year-old labourer of Edinboro, by an unlawful act, to wit, by shooting him about his body with a gun.
Attempted Murder:
- With intent to commit the offence of murder on Jahlani Thompson, a 17-year-old student of Edinboro, did an act which is more than merely preparatory to the commission of the offence, to wit, by shooting him on his left foot with a gun.
Both men appeared before the Serious offences court where they were arraigned. They were not allowed to plea due to the indictable nature of the charges and were remanded into custody at His Majesty’s Prison. The matters were adjourned to January 26, 2026.
