MP for Marriaqua Phillip Jackson has hailed the collaborative infrastructure project in the village of Richland Park, where local citizens took the initiative to repair a severely damaged road.
Following numerous reports of impassable driving conditions on Doyle Street, residents utilized materials provided by the Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority to pave the surface themselves.
Minister Phillip Jackson officially visited the site to praise the community for their cooperative spirit and collective labor in completing the emergency repairs.
While locals expressed concerns regarding the dilapidated state of the remaining roadway, the Minister reassured them that a larger construction plan is scheduled for the near future.
